MARK QUIGLEY scored twice as Dundalk and Bray Wanderers played out an entertaining 2-2 draw at Oriel Park. The Seagulls overturned a one goal deficit to go 2-1 in front but Quigley's second goal of the game, and his 11th league strike of the season, ensured Dundalk a fifth draw in six games. The home side went in front after 14 minutes. Marc Griffin was pushed in the six-yard box by Derek Prendergast. Referee Dave McKeon had no hesitation in pointing to the spot and Quigley sent his namesake, Darren, the wrong way with the kick. Quigley's goal took the wind out of Bray's sails. The Seagulls created three chances in the opening 10 minutes with Conor Murphy shooting at Peter Cherrie from 18-yards after Stephen Maher had been dispossessed by Chris Shields after just 58 seconds. Shields then headed just over from a Dean Zambra corner and Jake Kelly also flashed a left footed effort just wide of the mark after good approach play by Murphy. Dundalk settled down after their goal and Quigley should have doubled the lead in the 29th minute when he shot wide following a beautiful exchange of passes with Griffin. Left-back Nathan Murphy then ventured forward but he was denied by a good save from Darren Quigley. The visitors felt they should have had a penalty kick of their own in the 32nd minute when Jake Kelly went down under a challenge from Carl McHugh just inside the box. This time the Dublin official waved play on, much to the fury of Devlin and his bench although it looked like McHugh had just got his toe to the ball. Quigley's goal looked to have given Dundalk a half-time lead but the visitors drew level in stoppage time. Chris Shields guided in a devilish ball from the right and Danny O'Connor got the slightest of touches to guide the ball past Peter Cherrie. Bray turned the game on its head by pulling in front after 54 minutes and it was the result of another fantastic delivery. Kelly was the provider, his world class delivery form the right glanced into the bottom corner by Dean Zambra from close range. Their lead lasted just a matter of seconds as Dundalk restored parity straight form the kick-off. Simon Madden's lofted ball found Quigley and he sent a cracking lob the over the advancing 'keeper from wide on the right. Both teams pressed for a winner late on and Quigley was denied a hat-trick by a wonderful save from the Bray 'keeper late on.
