LIAM BURNSÂ scored and was sent off along with team-mate Christy Fagan as Bohemians salvaged a terrific point with nine men at Richmond Park.Â
St Pat’s dominated the first half as Bohs trooped off a player down following the 43rd minute dismissal of their lone striker Fagan following two rash challenges on Derek Pender and then Evan McMillan.
Both keepers had produced an excellent stop each to ensure the half-time stalemate. Bohemians’ Barry Murphy parrying away from Daryl Kavanagh on 16 minutes. Bohemians came into it approaching half-time with Anto Flood working Rogers before Fagan’s red card.
The game then swung Bohs’ way with the lead goal on 52 minutes. Rogers initially made a stunning one-handed save from Killian Brennan’s free-kick. But Flood retrieved the ball to cross for defender Burns to turn it home from close range.
But Burns saw a straight red card for a handball in a goalmouth scramble on 67 minutes. Stephen Bradley scored emphatically from the spot to equalise.
Try as they might, St. Pat's couldn't find a winner with David McMillan coming closest when he shot against a post on 72 minutes.
