A Gareth McGlynn strike mid-way through the second half at Hunky Dorys Park kept Bohemians in the title race.

McGlynn’s strike was enough to give Bohs victory over Drogheda United, keeping the Dublin 7 side just five points behind arch rivals Shamrock Rovers.

McGlynn struck on 77 minutes to settle a narrow affair. The former Derry City midfielder latched onto Conor Powell’s long ball and finished past Robert Duggan in the Drogheda goal.
