Shaun Williams continued his impressive season by scoring the winner for Sporting Fingal against Dundalk at Morton Stadium. The Fingal captain scored the only goal of the game as Liam Buckley’s side moved up to third in the table with victory over 10-man Dundalk. A tight match was settled on 52 minutes when Williams met Ollie Cahill’s free kick and headed the ball into the net. Dundalk battled bravely to get back into the match but their hopes were dashed on 82 minutes when Tom Miller was shown a second yellow card.
