Bohemians recorded a comfortable victory over Dundalk at Dalymount Park, running out 3-0 winners.

Despite the end result, it took the Gypsies 50 minutes to break the deadlock when Paddy Madden put the ball past ex-Bohs 'keeper Matt Gregg after Aaron Greene had crossed the ball.

The match remained tight until the dying moments when the visitor's had midfielder Michael McGowan shown a red card for a foul on Raffaele Cretaro.

The resulting free kick saw the home side double their lead when Ruaidhri Higgins scored direct.

The icing was put on the cake in the final moments when McGlynn got his second of the night. The midfielder walzed past the visiting defenders before curling a shot past Gregg.
