Sligo Rovers host St. Patrick’s Athletic at The Showgrounds looking to record their first victory of the new campaign. An opening weekend draw against Cork City was followed by defeat last week to Shamrock Rovers, so manager Paul Cook will be eager to get something from this fixture.

Sean Doherty and Jason Noctor join Chris Butler and Mauro Almeida on the sidelines, although the Bit O’ Red welcome Alan Keane back from suspension.

Having defeated Cork City last weekend, St. Patrick’s Athletic will be looking to keep some momentum to their season. The Saints’ midfield options have been strengthened considerably by the signing of Stuart Byrne and the return of Gary Dempsey from suspension.

However, both Glen Fitzpatrick and Damien Lynch serve one match bans this weekend and will miss the trip west.
