There were two goals and three red cards at Richmond Park as St. Patrick's Athletic played-out a 1-1 draw with Bray Wanderers. Dave Partridge put the Saints ahead on 31 minutes but the Seagulls drew level on 55 minutes when Dave Mulcahy scored the equaliser. Mulcahy was sent off five minutes later after he appeared to be caught in confrontation with Saints midfielder John Lester, who also saw red after the incident. And the drama wasn't finished, with Chris Deans being shown his second yellow card on 75 minutes to reduce the visitors to nine men. However, while St. Pat's pressed for a winning goal, it was not to be as Bray Wanderers held on for a precious point. St. Patrick's Athletic: Rogers, Stevens, Gavin, Lynch, Maher, Moran, Partridge, Ryan, Lester, O'Connor, Quigley Bray Wanderers: O'Connor, Massey, Doyle, Mulcahy, Webster, Kelly, Kavanagh, Brennan, Shields, McCabe, Coughlan |
