The quarter-final draw for the 2011 FAI Ford Senior Challenge Cup was tonight made live on MNS in RTÉ Studios, Donnybrook, Dublin.

Assisting with the draw was FAI Vice-President, Tony Fitzgerald and Republic of Ireland Women’s Senior Head Coach, Sue Ronan.

There could be a repeat of the 2010 FAI Ford Cup final at the quarter-final stage this year should the holders, Sligo Rovers overcome Monaghan United and Shamrock Rovers defeat UCD.

Meanwhile, the pairing of Sheriff YC and Limerick guarantees that there will be either a non-league or first division team in the semi-final of this year’s competition.
