COBH RAMBLERS were eliminated from the FAI Ford Cup at the Second Round stage after a home defeat to Cherry Orchard at St Colman's Park.

 

John Meade scored for the Newstalk A Championship side but goals from Ian McNeill and Adam Crowther secured Orchard's progress to the Third Round.

The  FAI Ford Cup Second Round Replay arrangements  are as follows:

 

Saturday, 23^rd April          Youghal United v Tralee Dynamos, Ardrath Park, Youghal (3.00pm);

Sunday, 24^th April             Bangor Celtic v Greystones, Whitehall Road, Rathfarnham (11.00am);

Sunday, 1^st May                Pike Rovers v Avondale United, Pike Centre (2.30pm).

 

In the event of a draw after 90 minutes of play, then extra-time of 30 minutes shall be played. If the scores are still level, then a penalty shoot-out shall take place in order to determine the winners of the tie.
