Blues head to Mounthawk Park
Wednesday, 30 March 2011 11:52

STEPHEN HENDERSON'S Waterford United kick-off their EA Sports Cup campaign tonight against Tralee Dynamos at Mounthawk Park (KO 7.45pm).

The venue has been moved to the home of the Kerry League, from across the road at Dynamo's usual residence of Cahermoneen.

Henderson's side their first win in the Airtricity League against Finn Harps on Friday, and they will be looking to repeat the result secured at the same stage in the competition last season, when they defeated the Kerry League at the same venue.

Dynamos will need little reminder of their 9-0 loss to the Blues at the RSC in the second round of the EA Sports Cup last May, when George O'Callaghan scored five times on the night.

Waterfoird should have a full panel to choose from, although recent injury absentees Paul Murphy and David Breen remain slight doubts.
