Finn Harps 0-2 Cork City  Shane Duggan scored twice as Cork moved back second in the First Division table with an empathic win at Ballybofey.  Cork should have been ahead on 18 minutes when Harps’ goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher was booked for a foul on City striker Vinny Sullivan inside the area to concede a penalty.  But topscorer Graham Cummins drove his spot kick off Gallagher’s left-hand post.  Cummins made amends, however, when skilfully setting up Duggan to shoot home the lead goal on 62 minutes.  Midfielder Duggan then sealed City’s win with a second goal 11 minutes later when latching onto a mistake by Paddy McLaughlin to run through and shoot past Gallagher. |
