Stephen O’Flynn scored a last-gasp winner to keep Limerick’s promotion play-off hopes on the boil.

Topscorer O’Flynn struck a minute into stoppage time when latching onto skipper Pat Purcell’s knock down to finally beat Packie Holden.

Pat Scully’s Shannonsiders ran the first half with a brace of efforts each from O’Flynn and John Sullivan just off target.

Limerick remained the better side after the break with Bobby Ryan causing the Youths defence problems before they finally broke the deadlock very late on.
