Republic of Ireland under-23 panelist Graham Cummins' 17th goal of the season gave Cork an eighth win in nine games to move Tommy Dunne's side above Limerick into fifth place in the table. But Cork rode their luck as they needed a penalty save from keeper Tom McNulty to earn the three points. Cummins showed bags of skill to turn defender Philip Byrne and shoot City in front after ten minutes. But Town should have been level four minutes later. Town striker Lee Roche tumbled in the area, but McNulty saved his spot kick. |
