Limerick kept pace with the First Division leaders by beating Longford Town 3-1 at Jackman Park.


A long-range strike from Garbhan Coughlan put Pat Suclly's side in front on 23 minutes.


Shane Tracy added a second on the hour before Shane Clarke sealed the three points with a third on 73 minutes.


Mark Salmon got Town's consolation goal in stoppage time.
