Stephen O'Flynn scored twice as Limerick moved up to third place with a battling home win over Athlone Town.
Former Limerick player Jason Hughes put Athlone in front on 24 minutes when racing through to beat Dave Ryan.
O'Flynn levelled on 58 minutes following a corner with John Sullivan then putting Limerick in front ten minutes later with a long range drive.
But Town hit back within two minutes when topscorer Austin Skelly punished poor defending at a corner.
O'Flynn then won it for Pat Scully's side with his second of the night on 79 minutes.
