Limerick were the biggest winners on the night, trouncing bottom side Salthill Devon 5-0 at Jackman Park, though they stay fourth in the table, level on points with Waterford and Monaghan.
Tim Kiely sent Pat Scully’s side on their way with the lead goal after 18 minutes.
A second strike, from a Shane Tracey penalty on 63 minutes, brought a goal rush of four in 20 minutes, with Stephen O’Flynn, from a bullet header, Sean Kelly and Jeffrey Judge all scoring.
