Former Shelbourne striker David Freeman returned to haunt them as he hit a stoppage time equaliser at Tolka Park.

Shels' first half dominance finally told as they got the lead on 42 minutes.

Philly Gorman worked the opening to set-up Marc Hughes to shoot home from close range.

Shels wasted chances to seal the win before Freeman struck two minutes into added time to score and earn Longford an unlikely point.
