David McDaid scored again as Derry City beat nine man Finn Harps in the north west derby to extended their lead at the top of the First Division table to three points.
James McLean gave Derry the lead just before half-time when reacting quickest to a rebound to rifle home. McDaid, who scored a hat-trick at Salthill Devon on Saturday, added the second six minutes into the second half. Veteran Jonathan Minnock was the first Harps' player to see red for a bad tackle on McLean on 61 minutes. Matt Crossan, booked earlier, followed him for an early shower in the final minute for a second yellow card. |
