General Information

|
Sporting Fingal was formed in 2007, originally with the intention of applying for membership of the new A Championship. However, when Kilkenny City made the decision to drop out of the League of Ireland First Division, Sporting Fingal were offered the chance to replace them.
The club enjoyed a remarkable season in 2009, winning the FAI Ford Cup and securing promotion to the Premier Division.
In 2011 Sporting Fingal will be playing out of Dalymount Park, Phibsborough, while continuing their plans to develop their own facility in Fingal.
