Eric Foley scored twice as Shelbourne made it two big wins on the spin to move up to second in the table after this eight goal thriller at Flancare Park.

Shels raced into a 3-0 lead inside 41 minutes with strikes from Foley, David Cassidy and David McGill.

Town hit back before the break through ex-Shels' striker Peter Hynes.

Mark Leech all but sealed the win for Shels with their fourth goal four minutes into the second half.

Midfielder John Lester got one back for Town on 56 minutes before striker Foley added his second 20 minutes later.

Chris Deans got another consolation goal for Town ten minutes from the end.
