Shelbourne got their first win of the season, comfortably seeing off newcomers Salthill Devon, who finished with ten men, at Tolka Park. David Cassidy punished poor defending to fire to the top corner of the net from Ray Scully’s cross on 39 minutes. Dinny Corcroan doubled Shels’ lead two minutes into the second half with Darren Forsyth adding the third on 53 minutes. Devon had defender Sean Murphy sent off four minutes later. |
