| Monaghan United 2 Longford Town 2 |
| Friday, 12 March 2010 23:45 |
|
Fiachra McArdle scored twice late on as Longford Town came from 2-0 down to maintain their good start to the season and remain second in the table. Philly Hughes appeared to have Monaghan in the driving seat by half-time when he added a penalty, to his second minute opener, two minutes before the interval. But town, impressive in also coming from behind to beat Finn Harps last week, hit back with McArdle scoring in the 83rd and 86th minutes to snatch a point. |
