Eamon Zayed’s sixth goal of the season eased Sporting Fingal to a sixth win on the spin at Flancare Park. Ross Gaynor fired Sporting in front on eight minutes before a bitter-sweet night began for midfielder Robert Bayly. The club vice-captain put Sporting 2-0 up on 23 minutes but was subsequently sent off just past the hour mark. Zayed then sealed the points with his goal on 74 minutes. Four minutes later Liam Lynch got a consolation goal for Longford who slumped to a fifth league defeat in succession. |
