David McMillan was UCD's supersub as they avenged their recent EA Sports Cup semi-final defeat to lift College up to second place in the table.


UCD were the better side throughout and Blues' keeper Michael Devine made two terrific stops in the first half, both from College midfielder Ronan Finn, on seven and 25 minutes, tipping both out for corners.

 

The winner came on 70 minutes, seconds after John Kearney had hit a UCD post.

 

College broke away and Peter McMahon played in McMillan who calmly shot past Devine.
