| Kildare County 0-0 Limerick |

Kildare kept their first clean sheet since last September as they frustrated Limerick at Station Road. County striker Philly Hughes out-muscled Brian O'Callaghan to chip against the Limerick crossbar to register the chief chance of the first half on 34 minutes. Though Limerick owned the second half, they couldn't find a way past keeper Darren Kelly, who saved well at the feet of John Tierney on 56 minutes.
