Dean Barrett was the night’s other hat-trick hero as he earned bottom of the table Kildare County their first win of the season as they came from behind to record a stunning victory at Terryland Park. Rory Gaffney gave Mervue the lead on 25 minutes. But County hit back in style in the second half with Barrett scoring on 48, 57 and 78 minutes. Darren O’Brien got a fourth for County in stoppage time as Mervue have now conceded 16 goals in their last three games.
