Anto Flood’s fourth goal in three games earned Shels a third win on the spin to move them up to third in the table. Shels had the ideal start with the lead goal on seven minutes. David Cassidy got in one-on-one with Monaghan keeper Ronan McGann and was taken down. David Crawley cracked home the spot kick. Monaghan hit back late on when striker Karl Bermingham shot home to level on 82 minutes. But in-form Flood won it for Shels four minutes later with a simple tap-in, his eighth goal of the season. |
