|
Mervue twice came from behind at Lissywoollen to earn only their second point in five games. Â Kevin Williamson sidefooted home Robbie Hamm's cross to give Athlone an 18th minute lead. Â Mervue hit back to level within six minutes when Damian O'Rourke shot home after Eric Browne flicked on an Alex Lee corner. Â Ciaran Reilly restored Town's lead on 69 minutes with a fine header from Noel McGee's right wing cross as they looked on course for a first win in five games. Â But David Goldbey hit back to earn Mervue their point when heading home substitute Rory Gaffney's cross six minutes from time. |
