UCD lost top spot on goal difference as they had to settle for a 0-0 draw at Jackman Park against Pat Scully's improving Limerick.

 

Limerick were the better side early on with John Tierney firing over the top on 20 minutes.

 

Tommy Barrett then hit a post before College keeper Ger Barron made a good stop to deprive Paul Walsh as Limerick remained on top.

 

UCD were better after the break and Robbie Creevy fired wide with an overhead kick while Limerick defender Pat Purcell made a terrific tackle on Chris Mulhall late on.
