Kildare County 0-3 Shelbourne
Friday, 15 May 2009 09:51

Anto Flood scored twice as Shelbourne recorded their biggest win of the season at bottom of the table County.

David McAllister had Shels in control at the break with his first goal of the season.

That came on 41 minutes when County keeper John Flynn failed to grasp a Robbie Hedderman cross from the left. The ball broke for midfielder McAllister, and though his initial shot was blocked, he followed up to rifle home the rebound.

Flood doubled Shels lead on 66 minutes before sealing the win with his second of the night, and sixth of the season, three minutes later.
