Ciaran Kilduff scored twice as UCD opened up a four point lead at the top of the table overnight with an eighth win of the season. Kilduff lobbed home to put College in front on 14 minutes. Town, on their way to a sixth successive defeat, were in further trouble on 25 minutes when defender Brian McCarthy was sent off. UCD then double their lead four minutes before the break when midfielder Greg Bolger rifled home with a stunning shot. Kilduff ended the game as a contest with his second goal on 77 minutes - his seventh of the season - before Derek Glynn got Town’s consolation striker five minutes later. |
