Dinny Corcoran hit a hat-trick as Shelbourne were the biggest winners on the night, trouncing bottom side Salthill Devon 5-0 at Tolka Park.

Philly Gorman sent Shels on their way with the lead goal on ten minutes when heading home a David Cassidy cross.

Corcoran got his first from a 39th minute penalty after he'd been taken down by Brian Geraghty.

It was 3-0 within three minutes of the second half as Corcoran drilled home his second before completing his trio on 82 minutes, tapping home following a Cassidy free kick.

Midfielder Ray Scully added a fifth goal in time added on.
