Stephen Henderson has agreed to a new one-year contract as Waterford boss after late goals from Kevin Murray and Vinny Sullivan saw Blues give their fans some cheer on their final home outing of the season. Blues, who lost out on the play-offs to Sporting Fingal and Shelbourne, utterly dominated bottom side County creating 13 clearcut chances before Murray finally broke the deadlock on 74 minutes when heading home substitute Dave Warren's corner. Sullivan put the gloss on the win three minutes from time when running onto his own through ball - as Paul Walsh cleverly didn't touch it as he was in an offisde position - to round substitute keeper Sean Geoghegan and tap home. |
