Galway neighbours meet again
Monday, 30 August 2010 09:43
Salthill Devon host Galway United in their FAI Ford Cup Fourth Round replay tonight, as the near-neighbours compete for a place in the Quarter Finals.

The side's played out a 1-1 draw at Terryland Park on Friday night, with the Tribesmen taking the lead only for Salthill to equalise.

Galway United manager Sean Connor is disappointed to be faced with a replay and is hoping his team can keep their concentration better tonight.

"I think we started off really well but to be fair to Salthill they kept their shape and got 10 men behind the ball," he said.

"The first goal was always going to be important and when we got it it was good, but then to conceded from a set piece was poor.

"The replay is a game we don't need but we just have to get on with it."
