| Dundalk advance in Europa League |
|
Dundalk will face Levski Sofia in the Europa League Second Qualifying Round after overcoming the challenge of CS Grevenmacher of Luxembourg at Oriel Park. Â Â With the tie balanced at 3-3 from the first leg, Dundalk went at their opponents from the first whistle and had their reward after five minutes when Fahrudin Kudozovic was taken down inside the penalty area, allowing Neale Fenn to convert the spot kick from 12 yards. Â Kudozovic himself doubled the lead on 16 minutes, giving the home side a commanding lead over their visitors. Â Although Grevenmacher managed to pull-back a consolation goal on 90 minutes, it is Dundalk who progress to face Bulgarian giants Levski Sofia next week. Â |
