Saints aiming to improve home form
Jeff Kenna wants his St Patrick’s Athletic team to bring their away form to Richmond Park tomorrow night where they take on Dundalk in the League of Ireland Premier Division.

The Saints boss has presided over two impressive away victories over Cork City and Sligo Rovers in the last two series of games and said that he is looking for more of the same in Inchicore:

“We’ve had two back to back wins on the road and it’s up to us now to put on a performance for the home fans after the disappointment of the Galway game," he said.

Kenna welcomes back Damian Lynch and Glenn Fitzpatrick from suspension but will have to do without John Lester who serves a one match ban.  Also out are long term injury victims Stephen Maher and Brendan Clarke.

Kenna will also be forced to change a winning team as Garreth O’Connor picked up a thigh strain in Sligo and is expected to be out for a minimum of two weeks.  On a positive note last season’s top scorer Mark Quigley played for half an hour in Sligo and could be set to return to the starting eleven. Commenting on this front Kenna said:

“It’s disappointing to be without Garreth but it opens the door for others to come in and stake a claim.  We’ve a few who can come in and play wide.  It’s good to have Mark back too and we’ll be looking to get him involved in the game at some point.”

Tickets for tomorrow’s game are available from Richmond Park and ticketmaster outlets nationwide.  As part of St Patrick’s Athletic’s 80th Anniversary celebrations all Under 12’s can enter the game for just 80c on the night once accompanied with an adult.
