Declan 'Fabio' O'Brien has been making the most of St Patrick's Athletic extended run in Europe recently, but is now determined to get the team moving up the league table.

 

The sharp-shooting striker has hit the back of the net four times since joining The Super Saints on loan from Dundalk and has been spearheading the attack in Jeff Kenna's side.

 

While things have been going well on the European front, O'Brien knows that the Premier Division is where St Pat's need to start picking up some wins.

 

Next up for the Inchicore-based club is a visit from city rivals Bohemians and O'Brien insists it is a chance for the home team to make the most of their current streak of confidence by putting in a big performance on Tuesday evening.

 

"I have really enjoyed my time since arriving here even though I'm not here that long," said O'Brien.

 

"Things have gone well in the European games, so we are hoping to bring that good run into the league.

 

"For myself, I'm going into every game full of confidence, but the team is as well.

 

"It is a team effort and when we are picking up good results everyone is confident."
