| Fabio switches focus to the league |
|
Declan 'Fabio' O'Brien has been making the most of St Patrick's Athletic extended run in Europe recently, but is now determined to get the team moving up the league table. Â The sharp-shooting striker has hit the back of the net four times since joining The Super Saints on loan from Dundalk and has been spearheading the attack in Jeff Kenna's side. Â While things have been going well on the European front, O'Brien knows that the Premier Division is where St Pat's need to start picking up some wins. Â Next up for the Inchicore-based club is a visit from city rivals Bohemians and O'Brien insists it is a chance for the home team to make the most of their current streak of confidence by putting in a big performance on Tuesday evening. Â "I have really enjoyed my time since arriving here even though I'm not here that long," said O'Brien. Â "Things have gone well in the European games, so we are hoping to bring that good run into the league. Â "For myself, I'm going into every game full of confidence, but the team is as well. Â "It is a team effort and when we are picking up good results everyone is confident." |
