| Brush calls for consistency |
|
![]() The Bit O' Red shot-stopper has been frustrated with the side's lack of form. Sligo are in ninth place in the table and Brush knows that they need to start winning matches to pull themselves out of the relegation fight. Paul Cook's side have proven that they can match the best teams in the division but Brush says that a lack of consistency has cost them. "We beat Derry at the Brandywell, which isn't easy, then drew 0-0 with Bohs and to keep clean sheet against Bohs is an achievemnt, but then we threw it away to lose 3-0 to shams at home, which is quite embarrasing," he said. "Consistency is a big issue for us at the minute. We need to start chalking up clean sheets and get some more wins on the board." Brush says that the team are determined to improve their home form, starting with this Saturday's fixture against Galway United at The Showgrounds. "You want to make your home a fortress," he said. "If you can pick up your points at home, anything you pick up on your travels is a bonus. Consistency is a massive thing for us this year. We seem to turn it on and turn it off but we need to level it off and start picking up points."
