| Sligo to give youth a chance |
|
Sligo Rovers are likely to give youth a chance at Turner's Cross on Friday as they make the trip south missing up to seven first team players. Long-term injury victims Mauro Almeida and Stephen Parkhouse have been joined on the sidelines by Raffael Cretaro (calf), Brian Cash (hamstring) and Sean Doherty (hamstring), all of whom are rated as 50/50 for the match this Friday. ![]() Sligo's problems have been added to by the fact that both Danny ventre and Owen Morrison are suspended for the match, following their dismissals last week away to Drogheda United. Better news for Sligo fans is that Conor O'Grady [pictured] has returned to full fitness and could be included in the starting XI at Turner's Cross. The club are also likely to call upon several young players from their Newstalk A Championship squad, with Ross McLoughlin, Owen Torpey and Jason Noctor all likely to travel to Cork with the first team squad. |
