Cook departs Sligo

Paul Cook has left his post as manager of Sligo Rovers, the club has confirmed.

A statement from the club said that Cook, who has been manager of the Bit O' Red for two seasons, had left "by mutual consent".

Cook impressed greatly during his two-year spell as manager of the club and last season guided the club into the Setanta Sports Cup and Europa League.

The club will begin looking for a replacement straight away.
