| Ryan joins Dundee United |
|
RICHIE RYAN has completed a move to Dundee United from Sligo Rovers. The SPL side confirmed yesterday that they had completed the signing of the midfielder on a two and a half year deal. Ryan, 26, starred as the Bit O' Red captured a second consecutive FAI Ford Cup with a penalty shoot-out victory over Shelbourne at the Aviva Stadium. The Tipperary native will not be able to play for the Tangerines until January when the transfer window opens. He was named PFAI Player of the Year in 2010. Ryan previously played for Belvedere, Sunderland, Scunthorpe, Boston United and Royal Antwerp. Dundee United include Irish players Sean Dillon, Willo Flood, Jon Daly and Gavin Gunning in their ranks. |
