|
ALAN KIRBY has agreed a one-year deal at Sligo Rovers after completing a move from Sporting Fingal. Â The experienced midfielder has enjoyed a very successful career in the Airtricity League having won the FAI Cup three times including back to back victories with Longford Town. Former Ireland under-20 international Kirby, 33, started his career at Aston Villa before returning to his native Waterford United in the late 1990s. He had a spell with St Patrick's Athletic after making a major impression with Longford. Sligo boss Paul Cook is continuing to look at further squad strengthening opportunities according to sligorovers.com. Â |
