SHAMROCK ROVERS will turn their minds to UEFA Europa League action tonight when they host FK Partizan Belgrade at Tallaght Stadium tonight.

After impressing in the UEFA Champions League, Michael O'Neill's side are bidding to become the first Irish side to qualify for the group stages of the Europa League.

Tonight's Play-off round first leg (7.45pm) will also be screened live on RTE 2 but tickets are currently available for the game at the Shamrock Rovers Club Megastore, and will be on sale at the ticket booths outside the game up to kick-off.

O'Neill is still working without Ken Oman (knee), while Stephen O’Donnell (hamstring) and Dean Kelly (groin) have also been ruled out of the game through injury. There are slight doubts over Ronan Finn (groin), and Enda Stevens (ankle). 

The Hoops boss said: “As we are at home first, our aim will be to keep a clean sheet, and obviously we’ll be looking to score.

“At this stage of European football, it’s always going to be tough, and having looked at Partizan, we know that will be the case for us over these two games. But we will be going into the tie looking to impose our game on the match and ask questions of them.”
