| Hoops continue to build squad |
|
Shamrock Rovers have continued their squad building with the signing of underage international pair Ronan Finn and Conor McCormack.   Former under-21 international midfielder Finn signed for the Hoops after spells with Sporting Fingal and UCD.  Ex-Irish youth international McCormack was previously with Manchester United and Italian Serie B side Triestina.  Rovers have also completed the signings of goalkeeper Ryan Thompson. Jamaican native Thompson has been plying his trade in the United States for the past few years. He played college soccer with University of Tampa and in the PDL with Portland Phoenix.  Hoops boss, Michael O’Neill told shamrockrovers.ie: “We have been working hard putting together a quality squad, and we feel these players fit right in. They are all young, hungry, hard-working players, and I am very excited to have them on board.†|
