Mannus staying with Rovers

ALAN MANNUS has opted to remain with Airtricity League champions Shamrock Rovers for the 2011 season.

 

The Hoops announced today that Mannus, who was recently awarded the Airtricity/SWAI Goalkeeper of the Year award, had agreed a new deal to stay at Tallaght Stadium.

Northern Ireland international Mannus was ever-present for Michael O'Neill's side last year.

Meanwhile, midfielder James Chambers has left Rovers in favour of a move to Scottish side Hamilton.
