Transfer News: Ger O'Brien to Derry City FC

Shamrock Rovers have agreed the terms of a transfer deal that will see defender Ger O’Brien move to Derry City FC.

The two clubs have agreed on a fee for the player, and work is in progress to finalise the deal.

Hoops chairman, Jonathan Roche said: “We have been in talks with Derry City, and have verbally agreed to a deal. Ger will be signing for Derry once all the necessary paperwork is in place. We wish Ger all the best in his future career.”
