Monaghan United played a central role in the town's St. Patrick's Day Parade, when a group of schoolchildren wearing club colours provided some colour to the occasion.

The club organised for schoolchildren wearing Monaghan United jerseys and carrying the official League of Ireland flag to participate in the annual parade. The kids sang throughout the parade and were a big hit with the crowd.

The event was also used to highlight the club's involvement in the Show Racism the Red Card campaign, with some of the children holding anti-racism posters.
