Daly remains wary of Bohs

Dundalk midfielder Michael Daly knows that it won't be easy to reach the next round of the FAI Ford Cup, because Bohemians stand in their way.

The two teams have engaged in a number of thrilling contests in the league this season and they are set to do battle once again when The Gypsies travel up to Oriel Park on Friday evening.

Daly, who has been superb since joining Dundalk, is quick to state his admiration for Bohs as he rates them as the 'best team in the league'. But he still thinks that they are beatable.

With an influx of new players during the July transfer window, The Lilywhites are a much stronger force now and they will be aiming to cause an upset by dumping the holders out of the competition.

"I think they are the best team we have played this season, by far," said Daly.

"They're the best team in the league and they're the benchmark for every other team in the league.

"There's tough sides to play against in this league, but Bohs are very resilient, they've got good players and they're a very good team. But I think we know we're capable of causing an upset.

"You can't go into games not being confident - you have to believe you can win, and I think the boys are quietly confident, and I think we have a good chance."
