Drogheda United has announced a new partnership with Largo Foods, which will see the first team jersey's carry the logo of Hunky Dorys. 

Largo Foods brands  include Tayto, King, HUNKY DORYS, Perri and Sam Spudz. Largo Foods has production facilities in the following locations: Co. Meath and Co. Donegal.

Drogheda United will display Hunky Dorys branding on all club   team wear  and associated kit. There will also be prominent HUNKY DORYS branding at United Park, the home of the Drogs.

Nicola Weldon, Senior Brand Manager, stated “ We are delighted to confirm our new partnership with Drogheda United and look forward to working with and supporting the team and club in the coming season. We wish the team and all their supporters a triumphant season.”  

According to Drogheda United Commercial Manager Alan Williams this “this  is a major coup for the club in the current economic climate  and I’m sure that this partnership will be  of great benefit to us and our new sponsors”

Club chairman Jim McArdle was equally delighted with the deal and wasted no time in welcoming Largo foods  on board. He added “Its fantastic  be associated with a high profile brand like HUNKY DORYS and the deal is a vote of confidence in Irish soccer and FAI League of Ireland.
