Drogheda lose Duggan
Thursday, 10 March 2011 18:43

DROGHEDA UNITED are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after Robert Duggan opted to make a return to the UK.

The former Stoke City goalkeeper has returned to the UK permanently and will not feature in United's squad for the rest of the 2011 season.

Duggan had sat out last week's opening Airtricity League fixture against UCD through suspension.

Young reserve keeper David Quirke will continue between the posts for Mick Cooke's side in their Premier Division clash with Bohemians this Friday.
